Our last adventure was a 4x4 camping trip on Fraser Island. We were randomly placed in a group of 11 people from all over the world. The trip was 3 days 2 nights on Fraser. We had a 4x4 Land Cruiser that seated 11 people. It was a tight squeeze so we became close with our group members relatively fast. The first day on the island we went to Lake McKenzie. The lake was like nothing I had ever seen before. So blue, clear, and absolutly incredible. Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world. We drove our vehicle all around the beach, splashing through water and dunes of sand. We were only able to drive at certain times of the day due to the tides. The organization we went through included all of our food. They gave us a menu of what was to be prepared each night and as a group we were required to figure out how to cook it. We camped right on the beach, ate great food...a bit sandy, but good food, saw incredible views and made friendships which will last for a life time.
